Ruud van Nistelrooy

Ruud van Nistelrooy was born in Oss, North Brabant, Netherlands on Jul. 1, 1976. As a famous former striker and the fourth –highest goal-scorer, he was known for outstanding performances and unremitting efforts on football fields. In 1993, he started his professional playing career with Netherlands second division side. After winning 12 goals in 31 matches in the 1996-97 campaign, he became a professional football player of Heerenveen, where he won 13 goals in 31 matches with the club.

After played with the club in a season, he transferred to PSV for a then-record transfer fee. In this season with PVS, he won 31 goals in 34 matches, obtaining splendid achievements. In addition to football clubs referred above, he also played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Hamburger SV and Málaga. For distinguished talents and outstanding performances at many important games, he also capped for the Netherlands national football team for 70 times, winning 35 goals for his team. After his playing career, he devoted himself to coaching intern work with the U17.
